I agree with the other long time buyers--the dimensional changes don't fit my non-ripped body.
A few years ago, the country of origin was changed and the briefs had an odor that didn't disappear after 4 washings.
Now the fabric is nice, but the cut is lower and they slide down.

The countour was my standard but huge disappointment in my last purchase. With no change in my weight, what used to be a good fit for M (I still have soem of these) now is snug even with an XL. Its clear the cut has dramatically changed. Teh material too. It used to be a simple, comfortable cotton, but now some kidn of stretchy variation that binds like Speedo.. Hopeful things will change back.

The CBB has been my only underwear for nearly 40 years. So comfortable. I always buy 10-20 at a time and hold them for back up. I finally opened my new purchases. Huge disappointment. The cut is different. They are made for bodies with little to no butt. So uncomfortable. Wish I could send them back. Now I don't know what I'll do. I hope Undergear can get the old style back and let us all know they have that back.

If you're new to the Contour Basic Brief then perhaps you will like it. If you've been buying the CBB for 20 years then you will now be disappointed. The waistband is tighter and lower; the sides do not come up to the hip, the material is thinner and shinier.

As keith from Albuquerque stated, this new version of the Contour Line has gone backwards drastically. I too have been wearing the Contour product since the mid 1980's and this new product (past 2 to 4 years?) is awful. Material, Fit, Construction... terrible. I would rather have paid a little more to keep the old manufacturer than wear what you're producing now. Please listen?

I have been very disappointed with underwear I have purchased for about the last 5-8 yrs. I used to buy the Contour regularly for at least the past 20 years. These latest versions are improperly sized, NOT cut the way they used to be, & I've had to return almost every time I ordered...
Plan on ordering AT LEAST 1-2 sizes larger-& DON'T use a Dryer!

I have purchased Contour products for the past 15 year or more and I have loved them, so I was excited to take delivery of my new Contour products. Once I opened the package I knew something was wrong. The construction and material are inferior. The fit and cut was subpar. In other words it's a piece garbage. I regret the purchase and will never order any more Contour products. It's a shame becuase I truly loved the product.

I purchased these and loved them. I ordered the Countour Rib Basic Briefs before and even though I am average size, there was too much "wiggle" room in the pouch and I found myself adjusting constantly. These, on the other hand, fit snug everywhere else and give me just enough room in the pouch. When you put them on everything just falls into place. I have been on a quest for the perfect underwear for years, switching from briefs to boxers to boxer briefs. Nothing gave me the support I wanted up front without binding everything and making me miserable or giving me no support at all in the sack area. It was always either, too much or too little. These are just right.

The Contour Basic Brief -- " our original," as Undergear states -- remains my underwear of choice. The Basic Brief was the first item I ever bought from Undergear and I continually return to purchase it for all the best reasons. The fit is perfect for me. And as my workout and exercise efforts over the last two years have further and continually improved my basically-fit-to-begin-with physique, I am tempted now to go around semi-nude in life - - wearing only the Contour Basic Brief and nothing else. Or, when fully-clothed, I possibly could hand out cards to select members of my choice of the general public; cards which say : " You should see me in just my Contour Basic Brief. " Seriously, though, this brief's design is incredibly comfortable for me and it truly flatters the overall male physique.
