I thought it was just me, until I read other reviews. I have been wearing this style of brief for years. BUT my last few purchases have been very disappointing. The fit is poor and the pouch is gone....I NEED THE POUCH!! My last purchase, in May, arrived just in time for a month long overseas vacation. Imagine my surprise upon reaching my destination and putting on the first pair. They fit low in the back, tight around the legs and of course NO POUCH....the size is all wrong!! At times I found myself reaching in to pull them up in the back because the felt like they were slipping down. Comfort became an issue and there were days that I had no choice but to go commando. Product quality is one of the issues. Quality control should ensure that design specs remain unchanged regardless of where they are made.

I took a chance on this new version of an old favorite of mine and now agree with other reviewers. Don't buy even at the sale prices. The fabric is heavier, the cut is all wrong and the natural pouch is gone. Much too low in the back.
Hope they get rid of these and bring back the original. Don't let them get rid on them on you! This is a great company that I have enjoyed doing business within the past and I hope they will bring back the previous product that was really special.

Like some of the other reviewers, I have been purchasing and wearing the A083 for many years. I had stocked up on them when I heard that they were changing the design. Unfortunately, they do wear out, and even more unfortunately, the new design just does not measure up. The main problem is they do not fit well. The back is cut lower which causes the short to ride down, a most uncomfortable situation. I was wondering if anyone had tried some of the other pairs of the Contour Collection and found an adequate substitute.

Great fabric and soft, but the fit is very flat in back and they ride down constantly. Also, the elastic in the waist has worn out in half of the pairs that I have bought.

I have been wearing the contour line of underwear for many, many years due to the comfort and fit. This all has changed recently with the redesign. The quality is poor and the fit uncomfortable. I can no longer recommend these underwear. I am very dissatisfied with these and the other redesigned contour underwear I have tried.

Undergear has definitely changed vendors on there undergear briefs and bikini line ,i personally think the quality isn't as good as it once was ..

The other review was correct. I ordered one pair of the "new" A083" and even odered a larger size for more comfort. The backside is not the full cut like it used to be. I will be returning the new ones I ordered. I really did not realize till I washed the first pair and put them on. They ride down in the back. Not as good as the old style. Too bad, the old ones were so comfortable.

I have been wearing these for years. It's a simple style. Not too provocative. Flattering in fit, comfortable. Especially the mesh. I wear them to the health club, under my workout shorts. I buy a lot of them because they are somewhat like disposable! However they last ~6months with repeated washings. I can't find a more comfortable undergarment. I'm not a boxer man.

the mesh contour is just not the same as it was. I have been purchasing the A083 for over 20 years and have been satisfied. Until now. The change in manufacturer ruined the product: the back panel is flat and not rounded to conform to the buttocks and the front 'pouch' is no longer a pouch and is definitely smaller. The entire product rides lower on the hips.
Please bring back the old product and advertise it as such when you do so that all of your loyal customers know.

I loved the design before it was changed. Ordered many consistently.
The new packages are made in India not in China. The package says they are smaller and will not be the same size. The packaging is right - they don't fit at all like the previous ones.
The new version is too small for my boys, the butt fit is wrong and the top band now slips down. My measurements haven't changed. Very disappointed as I looked for a long time and tried many pairs to find these. Please bring back the originals. I live in a hot climate and mesh are a necessity.
Tried the california muscle brief but it changed numbers too, so I am hesitant to order a bunch new and be disappointed again.
I also liked the cotton contours but won't order anymore, since the same supplier probably changed.

What a disappointment to find out when ordering my favorites, That the A083 has changed, not the full back that gave a perfect fit, and had me buying for years.I will not buy anymore A083 until you return to what was the best underwear on the market. A083 mesh contour brief with a full back. Is anyone listening.....AL

Countour mesh underwear.. formerly the best ventilated and fitted underwear I ever owned have been changed. Somebody seeking to save a few cents a pair cut back on sizes of the fabric panels in these underwear. The classic contour pouch design is smaller.. ( I held my older ones [med]side by side with the new[large]) the pouch on the old mediums is larger than the new large size. Quite a disappointment. I won't order again unless I hear they've returned to the old design.

I have worn the mesh contour for years, and always enjoyed the breathable fabric and contoured fit. But the current version has changed. The shape in the seat is now nonexistent, and the overall fit for the alleged same size is smaller and too short. I returned my last order; the current version of the product is not the same, and is simply unacceptable. I will not order these again unless I know that the previous style and cut have been restored.

i am a loyal customer since undergear started and can't understand why the advertisement pictured for the mesh contour looks like what i've ordered over these many years --and yet i received and returned twice orders that were different than this advertisement----why was the product changed to something not advertised---the other review on this page indicated some of the same frustratrion i'm experiencing---i won't re-order again until the mesh contour is as pictured with a full seat---less material may be cheaper but the quality is not there --sincerely cowman

I am a loyal repeat customer of products I have grown comfortable with, specifically with running shoes and undergear. Breathability of undergear is important to me , and the mesh cotton is a great choice for this brief. This once proved a perfect fit in size medium. They had a true full back. The most recent batch of three I received are also medium, but fit much smaller. The back is NOT full. I will not order this model A083 again unless prior proportionality of back to front are restored, as well as size labeling. Sometimes change is not a welcome thing.
