These are the best fitting under wear in this style. They are not like a cheap hotel without any ballroom. They are comfortable and fit perfectly. Anything I hate is to get a new pair of a different design and find there isnt enough room for all your "Stufff" and so some of it hangs out. If that's the case you migiht as well go Comando. What would be really nice is to have UNDERGEAR print a vertical line drawing of the pouch beside the picture which shows the "shape" of the pouch. I have thriown out a lot of underwear because they didn't fit, and so I hesitate to order anything new. PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS ITEM!!!!!!!!! I'm sure I am not the only guy who has a problem getting everything into the pouch, .........comfortably! Just a suggestion, but then maybe I woudn't be afraid to order a new style.

I too have been ordering these for over a decade.
They have changed it from time-to-time.
I ordered two pairs right around the time they did a big change.
The one that I got was really not very good. I thought I could get used to it.
But FORTUNATELY I decided to order more.
I ordered ten more.
Those ten were the BEST version of this thong I have ever had!
The first two had an "UNDERGEAR" label on them.
The second set (of ten) had a "Contour" label on them.
They were all double-layered.
They were all the same.
They are so awesome that I realized I really need to get 20 more--which I am about to order.
If you get these and don't like them, send them back. The bad ones are really bad.

Have ordered from IM/Undergear since early 1980's. Love some styles but they have changed this one and another, my favorites. Bad move. I should have returned but tried to "get used to it." They literally hurt. late in the day. NOTHING like their predecesors.

I ordered several of these. Overall they all fit OK, but some were single layer in the pouch and some were double layer. The double layer pouch is not as conforming as the single, hence slightly less comfortable. Also noticed that the care labels were different between the single and double layer; single layer items all carried the "Undergear" label while the double layer was "Contour". Medium fit as expected. Very good workmanship on all though.

I noted a lot of negative reviews of this item from previous purchasers. I bought a couple pair six months back and, although I haven't bought this specific item before, thought it was a solid purchase.
These are what they appear to be - a moderate priced T-back style thong in easy to care for cotton, in a variety of fun solid colors. I bought these in XL, my usual size for thongs, and the fit is fine. The styling is conservative enough (for a thong) that I can get away wearing them to the gym, but still know I will look my best for unexpected romantic encounters.
Agree with the reviewers that the fit of the back doesn't just disappear into the glutes - you can tend to notice them during the day - but I think that is part of the appeal of wearing a thong. Yes I have better fitting thongs that cost 3X as much, but, well, they cost 3X as much.
Solid purchase for what it is.

I have to agree with everyone elses review. The old style contour thong was much more comfortable. This latest style is just too tight on my you know whats. UG: Please go back to the old design and I'll order a bunch. Lately, the contours (brief, bikini) have gotten considerably tighter and therefore less comfortable. If you buy, recommend going up a size (ie. XL if you usually wear L).

UG needs to go back to the original design of this thong. The previous was so much more comfortable. I could wear it all day long and it felt as if I wasn't wearing anything at all (the whole point of a thong). Come on UG, go back to the previous design, please.

I own many styles of thong from many companies and in different fabrics. For overall comfort nothing beats 100% cotton! The style and cut of this thong fits my body perfectly, that's why I'm ordering three more today! I am 5'9 and 170-175 lbs, white and not real buff but I love how it feels/fits and so does my wife.

I own the old Countour Thong and the new. They made major changes. In fact so many I was wondering how they could refer to it as the same name and number A773.
It's a lot shorter which is good when wearing with jeans and hip hugging pants. I measure it about 6-1/4" tall before it is washed. These are the shortest I own.
My problem is they got wider in the back with the redesign. I measure the back at about 1-1/4" which is wider in the back than any of my other thongs. It was noticable to me all day. So I don't think these are going to be my favorite for that reason.
The pouch is perfect.
Undergear should really supply an additional picture of the product (not on a model) made from the back so you can see what you are getting. Maybe even supply some measurements too.

I have been wearing this A773 for years and my last two purchases had the following problems. Less material and poorer workmanship. Seams no longer hold and begin to come apart after 10 or more washings. As i said once a good product.

I have been a long time purchaser of this product. BEWARE! It is not the same excellent product that it was for so many years. UG has (admittedly) gotten a new manufacturer for their Contour line. The cut (especially the back) is completely wrong. The look is wrong, and the fit is so uncomfotable as to be unwearable. Very disappointed. It is so wrong that I was even allowed to return the 3 I had purchased even though they had been opened and washed.

It appears this is not the same version like the first contour thong, and it has a diifrent cut, and dont fit my butt like the other one did (seems too smal) Stitching is already coming apart .

I really liked the first contour thong I purchased. Was cut just right and had a great look to it. Decided to order another one and has a different front cut.....a little wider and not as comfortable. Product is great and would recomend though!
