Not enough room in the pouch. It needs a much fuller pouch. Size I purchased is XXL

The rear is too small for the size and the front is generous. Nothing moderate on the rear when it seems to fit a smaller size.

Just like what happend when UG ruined the longstanding best-selling french contour bikini, they've now reuined the old Milano design. The material is thinner and rougher, there is no lining of front pouch (so the front seam rubs), the back is cut lower and smaller, and now the thinner elastic waist digs into the skin. I'll never buy this again, and now with both favorites gone, I have to move on to another online store after 20 years with this one. What were they thinking??

Well, after reading mixed review of these briefs that I have been buying for years, I thought that I would order a few pairs to see if things have really changed with them. Like a review I read about the new French cuts, the manufacture change has killed this design. The front pouch is no longer lined, so you basically have a serged seam rubbing on your manhood at all times. The elasticized waist is a tad thinner now, so they tend to leave some marks, which never happened in the older versions. The front is roomier, but unless you are cultivating a forest down there, there is little use for that room and detracts from the look. Also, the back, which used to be moderately covering is not what it used to be. Lower rise in the back and less coverage on the buttocks mean that the update of the Milano isn't as comfortable as the previous ones. If you've never tried the originals and are trying these for the first time, they are OK, with more emphasis on the back now than on the front and still sexy and breathable and the updated colours tend to stay brighter longer. If you are about to reorder because the Milano had been an old standby for you, you'll probably be disappointed. I won't be reordering this style and will be relying on my current collection.

After purchasing the Milano Mesh bikini for more than twenty years in the same size, and now adding the fuller cut brief, I am holding four pair of my recent order for possible return/exchange due to the change that has been made in the cut. As noted in another reveiw, the back is less full and rides down requiring the constant adjustment. My waist has not changed in all these years, but the butt has downsized a bit. These are just not fitting as the old ones did with the new diminshed cut. Go back to the tried and true, and let me know when I might exchange the new. Like Coca Cola, you oopsed big time.

I was looking for a reasonably priced bikini to put into my day-to-day underwear rotation, and decided to try Undergear-brand French, Milano, and Greek briefs. My favorite day-to-day underwear is a skimpy, form-fitting boxer brief I buy in Europe. I was looking for something comfortable but that showed off more when I strutted around. Here are my thoughts on all three:
- Greek brief was my favorite for day-to-day wear. I have a big piece, and the front holds it in place while not being too constricting. The sides and back have minimal coverage but still OK for the gym. The front is double layer.
- Milano was a close second. Tighter, skimpier, and sexier than the Greek brief - wife loved them. Less coverage behind than the Greek brief, which I like, but borderline for the gym. While with the Greek brief sometime you forget it's there, with the Milano you know it's there (in a good way).
- Didn't like the French brief. Front was just too snug for my piece. And yes even though it is labeled a "brief" and not a bikini, I wanted something with less coverage/more skin - these really don't show any behind - and a less boring cut.

These by far are the most comfortable underwear I have ever wore and I hope Contour never discontinues them. I have tried many different styles and brands of underwear just looking for something different, but I always come back to these. They support very well for all activities from relaxing on the couch to daily running. They are a cotton mesh fabric so they very breathable and the pouch is just right for your manhood (not too tight and not too loose). I would recommend these to anyone. I am a 33" to 34" in waist, 180 lbs. and 6'2". The medium size fits perfect.
I'm not sure about what the previous rater said about a change in manufacturers and they fit and feel differently (my last order was in February 2009) but I hope this is not the case. I wear these underwear everyday and they last a very long time with out showing wear. I would say they are well worth the price!!

The original design had more of a scoop pouch. This design of the new pouch is not good. it squashes the boys instead of lifting them up and pushing them out. bring back the old design.

I love these. The slim side and full seat are comfortable. The mesh is soft and stretches to fit; great support.
