These squarecut trucks fit so perfect and when you have a much larger than avg package it isn't easy to find tight fitting trunks that are comfortable but these are the best I have ever had and look great too.

Although I did not want to do so, I had to drop a star in my review because I have to return these because a metal piece on the inside that secures the visible metal broke off after gently hand washing it from my second use.
Besides that, these trunks are very spectacular. The picture shown for them is probably a large size because the medium size that I ordered does not seem to cover quite as much (especially after you sit down, the fabric gets scrunched up a little). Generally they stop where the thigh starts to become slimmer. Beware not to sit with you legs really far apart (i.e. crosslegged) because it runs the risk of slight exposure to your private area and/or hair. It is because of this and because of how low it sits that I recommend trimming it up a little down there to avoid any peeping strands.
The front pockets don't actually hold anything but the back ones are real. It is even possible to put a pair of looser-fitting, longer-length trunks over these if you ever need to do so for whatever reason. As most tigher-fitting shorts require, center them according to the seam in the center of the front and not the "fly", otherwise it will make the fabric uneven in the back, therefore making it fit looser around one thigh.
Overall these are VERY comfortable and the studs are a great touch to add interest and masculinity.
